Our Story
Mr. Mulch began in 1989 when Mark and Jane Wells opened a small mulch business that still operates from its original location. In 2009, Clay Mohon took over, expanding it into a full-service landscape and hardscape company while maintaining its strong roots in quality and customer care.
Clay, a Pembroke native, grew up working alongside his father on the farm before running a successful mowing business. His passion for landscaping led him to grow Mr. Mulch into four locations across Hopkinsville, Murray, Guthrie, and Clarksville, TN.
